11 pt Kraft folders with fasteners

These 11 point Kraft folders include two fasteners that create separate filing surfaces inside each cover. Reinforced 1/3 cut top tabs resist wear from frequent handling. The letter sized folders come in a 50 count box.

Offices needing secure multi-section filing

The two fasteners suit offices that must keep document sets together under one tab. Buyers who want single surface folders or a different tab cut should look at other options.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/3 cut top tabs on these Smead 14837 folders line up with standard letter-size hanging rails?

Yes, the 1/3 cut top tabs are spaced to match standard letter-size hanging rails, so the folders sit straight and the tabs align across the drawer.

How do I fasten papers with the two fasteners without tearing the 11 pt Kraft stock?

Insert the prongs through the pre-punched holes, fold the prongs flat against the folder back, then press the compressor bar over them — do not force the prongs through unpunched paper or the stock will tear.
