Legal-size filing solution

The Smead 15335 file folder is built for legal-size documents and ships in a 100-count box. Reinforced 1/3-cut tabs in the first position add strength at the point of most wear. Sturdy 11 point manila stock protects papers through frequent handling. Rounded corners on front and back reduce dog-earing during daily use.

Durable construction for daily handling

The 11 point manila material resists tearing when folders are pulled from crowded drawers. Reinforced top tabs withstand repeated labelling and thumb pressure without splitting. Scored 3/4 expansion allows the folder to bulk up without stressing the seams. Wood fibre comes from a certified managed forest for responsible sourcing.

Ready-to-file convenience

Each box delivers 100 legal-size folders with assorted tab positions for immediate organisation. Pre-scored expansion lines let you add up to 3/4 of an inch of content without extra setup. Rounded corners prevent snags on adjacent files during insertion or removal. The manila colour provides a neutral background for handwritten or printed labels.

Questions about this item

How do I file these 15335 folders in a legal-size cabinet without misaligning the tabs?

The tabs are 1/3-cut in the first position, so place each folder with the tab on the left; they fit legal drawers that accept 8 1/2 by 14 inch folders.

What part of the 15335 folder is most likely to need replacement first?

The 11-point manila body and reinforced top tab are built for heavy handling; only the tab itself would wear enough to warrant replacing an individual folder.

At what fill level does the 3/4-inch expansion on the 15335 folders reach its limit?

The scored expansion allows up to 3/4 inch of bulk; once the contents exceed that thickness the folder will not close flat and the tab alignment suffers.
