File Cabinet Pocket Features

Pendaflex File Cabinet Pockets come in a 10-pack of brown letter-size folders. Each pocket has a 9-1/2 inch gusset height and 3-1/2 inch expansion capacity. Reinforced Tyvek strips strengthen the gusset corners and outer panels for rip-proof durability. The raised gusset rides smoothly along file cabinet rails without interference.

Who Benefits From These Pockets

Office workers needing high-capacity file storage for bulky projects will value the deep expansion. The 1/3-cut top tabs allow clear labeling for quick retrieval in busy cabinets. Buyers needing legal-size folders or recycled materials should look elsewhere. This pack suits standard letter documents only and contains no recycled content.

Critical Fit Specification

The raised gusset design solves rail clearance issues found with standard low-gusset pockets. This specific geometry ensures the pocket slides freely on file cabinet drawer rails during removal. Verify your cabinet uses standard letter-size rails before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What is the gusset height on the 10-pack Pendaflex File Cabinet Pocket and how does it clear cabinet rails?

The 9-1/2" raised gusset rides along the drawer rails, preventing the low-gusset interference that makes pockets hard to remove.

What panel thickness and reinforcement do the 8-1/2 x 11 brown folders use for durability?

22-point front and back panels with Tyvek strips on the gusset corners and outer panels for rip-proof strength.

How do you install the 1/3-cut top-tab folders so the tabs align in the drawer?

Insert each pocket so the full top tab sits uniformly at the front; the common error is staggering tabs, which blocks the label line.
