3.5" expansion file pockets

These file pockets expand 3.5 inches to hold bulky letter-size records. Each box contains 10 pockets made from redrope stock with manila liners. The accordion-style gussets reach 6.5 inches high and are fully lined with tear-resistant Tyvek. Double-thick fronts and reinforced corners add strength for heavy daily use.

High-volume paper filing

Suited for offices that manage thick project files, legal matter records or archival documents that exceed standard folder capacity. The straight-cut tabs work with common labelling systems and the drop-front design allows quick access to contents. Not intended for ring-binder storage or for users who need indexed dividers inside each pocket.

3.5 inch expansion capacity

The single specification that determines fit is the 3.5 inch overall expansion. Measure the thickest file stack you plan to store; if it exceeds this depth the pocket will not close properly. The 6.5 inch gusset height and letter-size footprint are fixed, so confirm your drawer or shelf accommodates those dimensions.

Questions about this item

Will the Tyvek-lined gussets or manila liner need replacement over time?

The 6.5 inch Tyvek-lined gussets and 11 point manila liner are built for heavy active files and are not designed as replaceable parts.

Does the 3.5 inch expansion limit how many documents the pocket can hold before bulging?

The pocket expands to 3.5 inches overall, so capacity is limited by that gusset depth when fully loaded.

Do the materials generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day filing use?

Paper-based Manila and Redrope materials operate silently and do not produce heat during continuous office use.
