Double-ply tab letter file jackets

Smead 75560 file jackets are letter-size manila folders built for everyday office filing. Each box contains 50 folders made from 11 point stock with reinforced double-ply tabs. The straight-cut tab includes a thumb-cut for quick access and sits half an inch higher on the back for clear indexing. Closed sides keep documents secure during transport or storage.

Two-inch expansion handles bulky files

Full-height gussets allow each jacket to expand up to two inches, accommodating thick project files or multiple document sets without splitting. The single-section design keeps contents together while the reinforced tab resists tearing when folders are pulled from crowded drawers. Unpunched edges suit standard filing cabinets and open-shelf systems alike.

11 point manila resists daily wear

The 11 point manila stock provides a stiff, durable body that holds its shape under sustained use in active filing environments. Wood fibre comes from a certified managed forest, supporting responsible sourcing. No fasteners or punched holes mean nothing snags on adjacent folders, so retrieval stays smooth and quiet throughout the workday.

Questions about this item

Will the 11 point manila stock hold up to daily handling without tearing?

The 11 point manila stock provides a sturdy base for frequent filing and transport.

Do these jackets require a specific filing cabinet or hanging system?

They are unpunched letter-size jackets with closed sides, so they sit on any flat shelf or in a standard letter drawer without extra hardware.

Can I mix these 2 inch expansion jackets with standard 11 point folders in the same drawer?

Yes, the straight-cut tabs align with other letter-size folders, and the 2 inch gusset simply adds capacity behind the same tab line.
