This enclosure converts a 2.5-inch internal SATA SSD or HDD into external removable storage for Windows, macOS and Linux hosts. It accepts both 7mm and 9.5mm thick SATA I/II/III drives up to 6TB capacity. The tool-free slide-in housing lets you swap drives without screws, ideal for frequent disk changes. USB 3.0 cable and UASP support

The included USB 3.0 cable provides a direct plug-and-play connection to USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports. UASP acceleration works with the USB 3.0 5Gbps standard and SATA III 6Gbps protocol to improve file-copy efficiency during daily backups. No extra software or drivers are required on supported operating systems. The bus-powered design keeps the setup compact for desktop or laptop use.

Check drive thickness and interface

Verify that your 2.5-inch drive uses a SATA interface and measures either 7mm or 9.5mm in thickness before ordering. Drives with other interfaces or larger form factors will not fit the slide-in tray. Ensure the host device has an available USB port for the supplied cable. The enclosure does not support 3.5-inch drives or non-SATA protocols.
