Adds two 5Gbps USB 3.0 ports via PCIe x1 with Renesas 720200 chip, SATA power and low-profile bracket
This PCIe expansion card adds two external USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a desktop computer. It uses a Renesas 720200 chip to provide stable 5Gbps transmission speed. The card is designed for users who need more USB connections for peripherals or external drives. A SATA power connector supplies the extra current required by high-draw devices.
The card fits any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot but operates at x1 electrical bandwidth. Maximum throughput is limited to 5Gbps per port by the USB 3.0 standard and the Renesas 720200 controller. A free SATA power cable from the power supply is mandatory for the card to function. Without this connection, attached high-current drives may not spin up or may disconnect under load.
A low-profile bracket is included to allow installation in slim SFF or compact PC cases. Standard-height brackets are not supplied, so the card cannot be mounted in full-size chassis without a separate bracket. Buyers with standard ATX cases must source a full-height bracket separately. This single mechanical detail determines whether the card fits the target system.

This card provides two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, so you get dual connectivity in one slot.
The Renesas 720200 chip delivers up to 5 Gbps theoretical bandwidth; real-world transfer rates depend on the drive and system overhead.
The card uses a PCIe x1 interface and draws extra power from a SATA connector to sustain full 5 Gbps operation on each port.
