SMUGDESK 8K DisplayPort 1.4 Fiber Optic Cable 50ft

SKU CH-3CD8-C1CGQ

A 50ft fiber-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable delivers 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 144Hz and 1080p at 240Hz with VESA certification and 32.4Gbps bandwidth

Cable Length 50 Feet

  • VESA certified DisplayPort 1.4 fibre cable supports 8K 7680×4320 at 60 Hz
  • 4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth enables 4K 3840×2160 at 240 Hz gaming
  • Fibre construction eliminates electromagnetic interference for flicker-free VR and competitive play
  • 24 K gold-plated connectors protect the internal chip and ensure reliable long-distance signal
  • 50 ft length connects PC or laptop to monitor, projector or headset without signal loss

VESA Certified DP 1.4 Fiber Cable

This 50ft DisplayPort cable uses fiber optics to carry 32.4 Gbps bandwidth with HBR3 and DSC 1.2. VESA certification confirms compliance with the DP 1.4 specification. Male-to-male connectors feature 24K gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance. The cable is backward compatible with DP 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 devices.

Suited For Long Runs And High Refresh

Ideal for PC builders who need a 50ft link between a graphics card and an 8K monitor or VR headset without signal loss. The fiber construction eliminates electromagnetic interference that can affect copper cables at this length. Buyers who only need a short desk connection under 10ft should consider a standard copper cable instead.

Bandwidth And Resolution Support

HBR3 delivers 32.4 Gbps total bandwidth enabling 7680x4320 at 60Hz, 3840x2160 at 240Hz and 2550x1440 at 240Hz. Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2 are supported for protected 4K and 8K content. This bandwidth figure is the single spec that determines whether your display and GPU combination will work at the desired resolution and refresh rate.
