Cable Length 50 Feet

  • VESA certified DP 1.4 fibre cable delivers 8K at 60 Hz over 33 ft
  • 4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth with DSC 1.2 enables 4K 144 Hz and 2K 240 Hz gaming
  • Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2 support enhance dark-scene detail for FPS and AAA titles
  • 24 K gold-plated connectors resist interference and ensure stable long-distance signal integrity
  • Backwards compatible with DP 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 for wide monitor and VR headset support

33ft Fiber Optic DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

This 33-foot fiber-optic cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals between a PC or laptop and a monitor, projector or HDTV. It is built for users who need long-distance 8K or high-refresh 4K video without the signal loss of copper cables.

VESA Certification and Gold-Plated Connectors

The cable holds official VESA certification for DisplayPort 1.4 fiber performance. Its 24K gold-plated connectors protect the internal optical engine and maintain a stable, interference-free link.

32.4 Gbps HBR3 Bandwidth

The single specification that decides fit is the 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth with DSC 1.2 support. It enables 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 240 Hz, and 1080p at 240 Hz, so buyers needing lower bandwidth can use a shorter copper cable instead.

Questions about this item

Will the 24K gold-plated connectors on this 33ft fiber cable need re-plating or replacement after repeated mating cycles?

The 24K gold plating resists oxidation and wear; under normal connect-disconnect use it should last the cable's lifetime without re-plating.

At the full 33ft length, does the fiber link hit its 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth ceiling before the source or display does?

The VESA-certified fiber design maintains the full 32.4 Gbps HBR3 rate at 33ft, so the link will not be the bottleneck for 8K60 or 4K144 signals.

Does the active optical engine in the connectors draw enough power to warm up or need extra cooling during all-day 8K60 use?

The converter chips draw only milliwatts from the DisplayPort source, producing negligible heat and requiring no active cooling.
