50ft Fiber DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

This 50ft fiber-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable is built for users who need high-resolution video over long distances. It suits PC builders and VR enthusiasts connecting headsets like Valve Index or HTC Vive to distant graphics cards. The directional design requires correct source-to-display orientation.

VESA-Certified 32.4 Gbps Bandwidth

Official VESA certification confirms the cable meets DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 specifications at 32.4 Gbps. It transports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, and 1080p at 240 Hz with Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2. Display Stream Compression 1.2 enables these resolutions without visual artefacts such as flicker or tearing.

Directional Install With Gold Connectors

Installation demands plugging the marked source end into the GPU and the display end into the monitor; reversing them yields no signal. The 24K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and secure the internal optical engine. Backwards compatibility with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 eases integration into existing setups.

Questions about this item

Will the gold-plated DisplayPort connectors need any cleaning or replacement over time?

The 24K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and are built for long-term use without scheduled maintenance.

What is the maximum bandwidth the fiber optic link can sustain continuously?

The cable carries up to 32.4 Gbps over HBR3 with Display Stream Compression 1.2.

Does the cable run warm or draw extra power during all-day 8K 60 Hz gaming sessions?

Fiber transmission stays cool and draws no external power, so heat and power draw remain negligible.
