Small black plastic IEC320 C8 male plug splitting to three C7 female sockets

SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK IEC320 C8 to 3xC7 Power Adapter

SKU CH-Z881-Y9WZQ

A single IEC320 C8 inlet splits into three C7 outlets, multiplying power ports for computers, TVs, PDUs and UPS units

  • One C8 inlet powers three C7 devices
  • Flame-retardant housing and copper contacts ensure safe operation
  • Works with computers, TVs, PDUs and UPS units
  • Compact plug-and-play design saves desk and cabinet space
  • Connector-only adapter — does not change voltage

One-to-three power splitting

This IEC320 C8 to 3xC7 adapter converts a single C8 male input into three C7 female outputs, letting you run three compatible devices from one power port. It is built for computers, televisions, PDU units and UPS systems that use these standard IEC connectors. The compact, integrated housing uses flame-retardant insulation and solid copper contacts to maintain stable current flow during continuous operation. No tools are required; simply plug it in for immediate use.

Home AV and office setups

The splitter suits home entertainment racks, office workstations and small cabinet wiring where multiple C7-powered devices share a single source. It is not intended for equipment that draws more current than the adapter's rated capacity allows, nor for devices requiring a different connector type or voltage conversion. Buyers needing to power more than three units or non-IEC equipment should look at alternative distribution methods.

Rated current headroom

Total connected load must stay within the adapter's rated current range to avoid overheating or connection issues. The design handles typical computer, TV and network accessory loads comfortably when the combined draw remains inside that limit. Exceeding the rated capacity removes the safety margin and can cause the flame-retardant shell to degrade or contacts to fail. Always verify each device's power rating before connecting all three outputs.

Questions about this item

Which devices can plug into the three C7 female sockets on this adapter?

Any device fitted with an IEC 320 C7 connector — such as certain laptops, monitors, TVs, PDUs or UPS units — can plug directly into each socket.

What must the buyer already have for the single C8 male input to connect?

A power source or cable that presents an IEC 320 C8 female socket, such as the inlet on many desktop PSUs, TV power bricks or UPS output ports.

How can the buyer confirm the adapter is operating correctly after plugging it in?

All three connected devices power on normally, the adapter body stays cool during use, and no burning smell or discolouration appears on the flame-retardant shell.
