SDI to HDMI Conversion for Broadcast

This mini converter accepts SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI inputs and translates them to HDMI with an integrated audio embedder. A dedicated SDI loop-out port preserves the original signal for cascading or monitoring. The unit ships with a power supply for continuous operation and requires no drivers, making it suitable for professional video, security and live-production environments.

Suited for Connecting SDI Cameras to HDMI Displays

It serves installers and technicians who need to feed professional SDI sources into consumer or commercial HDMI monitors while embedding audio and retaining a loop-through path. The device does not address users who require HDMI-to-SDI conversion, multi-channel audio de-embedding, or format translation beyond the three listed SDI standards.

Three Supported SDI Standards Decide Compatibility

The converter works only with SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals; any source using a different SDI line rate will not be recognised. Verify that your camera or switcher outputs one of these three formats before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the converter is processing the SDI signal correctly after connecting it?

The HDMI output should display video from your SDI source with embedded audio playing through the monitor or recorder; the SDI LoopOut port simultaneously passes the original signal to a second device so you can verify the feed at both points.

What accessories are included and what must I provide separately?

The package contains the mini converter unit and a dedicated power adapter; you supply the SDI cable from your camera or switcher, an HDMI cable to your display, and any audio source you want embedded into the HDMI stream.

My source outputs 3G‑SDI — is this the right model or do I need a different one?

This unit supports SD‑SDI, HD‑SDI and 3G‑SDI standards in a single device, so a 3G‑SDI source will work without requiring a separate model.
