Adds six USB 3.2 Type-A and two Type-C ports at 5 Gbps via a PCIe x1 slot with SATA power for stable device charging
This card adds six USB 3.2 Type-A and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports to a desktop computer through a single PCIe x1 slot. It is designed for users who need many simultaneous connections for external drives, printers or other peripherals. The 15-pin SATA power connector supplies stable current to every port. No driver is required for Windows 10 or 11, and the card also works with Linux and macOS.
The expansion card replaces external USB hubs that share a single upstream connection and can run out of power. It is worth installing when the motherboard has a free PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and the builder wants dedicated 5Gbps bandwidth per port. Systems that lack an internal SATA power connector cannot use the card's power feature. Builders who need more than eight ports or a different port mix will not be served by this model.
The PCIe x1 interface caps total throughput to one lane, so eight ports running at 5Gbps each cannot all operate at maximum speed simultaneously. Real-world aggregate throughput will be lower when multiple high-speed devices are active. The card fits standard ATX and small-form-factor motherboards but requires a physical x1 or larger slot. It does not add internal storage interfaces or video outputs.

No published specifications for this item yet.
It installs in any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and draws auxiliary power from a 15-pin SATA connector.
After seating the card, the 15-pin SATA power cable must be connected or the ports will not deliver full current.
Replace the SATA power cable if its connector becomes loose or its insulation cracks; replace the card if ports stop enumerating devices.
