PCIe X4 to 4-Port USB3.0 Multiplier

This PCIe X4 multiplier expands a single slot into four USB3.0 ports for connecting GPU risers. It suits builders assembling multi-card mining rigs that need more graphics-card connections than the motherboard provides.

Upgrade from limited onboard slots

The card adds four riser links through one PCIe X4 input, working in X4, X8 or X16 mainboard slots. The jump is worth it when the board lacks enough native ports for the planned GPU count and the mining software runs on Windows or Linux.

Stable main control chip for 24-hour runs

The onboard controller is rated for continuous 24-hour operation during long-period mining workloads. USB3.0 wiring lets you position each GPU freely inside the frame, reducing thermal crowding and keeping signal integrity steady over extended sessions.

Questions about this item

What slot width does the PCIe X4 edge connector need on the motherboard?

The card fits any PCIe X4, X8 or X16 slot on the mining motherboard.

How are the four USB3.0 ports connected to the GPU risers?

Each port takes a standard USB3.0 cable that plugs into the matching riser board for the graphics card.

What component should be checked if a port stops recognising a riser after months of 24-hour mining?

The main control chip on the multiplier board handles continuous operation; verify its power delivery and cable integrity first.
