Adds an M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD to a PCIE 3.0 x4 slot, supporting 2230 to 22110 form factors
The SMUGDESK SK6 is a PCIe 3.0 x4 adapter card that accepts both M-key and B-key M.2 SSDs, supporting NVMe and SATA protocols. It targets desktop, workstation and NAS users who want to add high-speed storage without occupying drive bays. Builders needing a simple upgrade path for faster boot or cache drives will find it fits standard PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slots. It does not suit laptops or systems lacking a free full-size PCIe slot.
The card accommodates every common M.2 form factor from 2230 through 2242, 2260, 2280 up to 22110, so one adapter covers short modules and full-length enterprise sticks. Its standard PCIe bracket secures firmly in desktop, server and workstation chassis for reliable daily operation. No extra power cables or mounting hardware are required beyond the slot itself. Systems limited to proprietary M.2 sockets cannot use this adapter.
Installation is driver-free on modern operating systems, letting the SSD appear immediately for partitioning or cloning. The dual-key slot removes the guesswork of matching key types when repurposing spare drives. This simplicity speeds deployment in multi-bay NAS units or multi-boot workstations. Users expecting bundled cloning software or heat-sink accessories will need to source those separately.

The SK6 uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 connection that fully unlocks NVMe read and write performance, so the adapter does not cap the SSD below its rated speed.
The card accepts 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 modules, and the dual M-key/B-key layout secures each size at its standard mounting hole.
Insert the SSD at an angle into the matching M-key or B-key slot, press it flat, then fasten the screw; do not force the screw while the drive is still tilted.
