The Sony XR42A90K is a 42-inch 4K OLED Smart TV from the 2022 A90K series. It uses the Cognitive Processor XR to analyse how humans perceive contrast and colour, delivering deep blacks, high peak brightness and billions of accurate colours via XR Triluminos Pro. The panel runs at 120 Hz with 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution and supports HDR10, Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log-Gamma. Four HDMI inputs, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide connectivity for consoles, streamers and sound systems.

Upgrade from smaller LED or older 60 Hz panels

Moving to this OLED replaces sets that rely on backlight zones or slower refresh rates, giving per-pixel illumination and 120 Hz motion clarity for fast-paced games and sports.
