Sony XR48A90K 48" 4K OLED TV 120Hz with Austere 5S-PS4-US1 Power

48-inch OLED TV with Cognitive Processor XR

The Sony XR48A90K is a 48-inch 4K OLED smart television from the 2022 A90K series. Its Cognitive Processor XR analyses how humans perceive contrast and colour to deliver deep blacks, high peak brightness and natural colours. The panel supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 3840 x 2160 resolution for smooth motion and sharp detail. It is suited to viewers who want reference-grade picture quality in a compact living-room or desktop form factor.

HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and four inputs

Four HDMI ports accept 4K signals at up to 120 Hz, enabling high-frame-rate gaming and media playback without switching cables. The Ethernet port and dual-band Wi-Fi provide network connectivity for streaming apps and firmware updates. Bluetooth allows wireless headphone or soundbar pairing. A single USB port handles media playback or service tasks. Buyers who need more than four high-bandwidth HDMI sources or legacy analogue inputs will need an external switch or a different model.

3000-joule surge protector with USB-C power delivery

The included Austere 5S-PS4-US1 power strip supplies four AC outlets rated for 3000 joules of surge protection and Type II EMI/RFI filtration. A USB-C port delivers up to 20 W Power Delivery for charging phones, tablets or streaming sticks directly at the screen. Flameless MOV and overcurrent protection guard connected gear. The strip does not add extra AC outlets beyond the four provided, so installations with many peripherals will require an additional power board.
