This Speck case fits the 10.2-inch iPad 7th generation 2019, 8th generation 2020 and 9th generation 2021. It matches model numbers A2197, A2198, A2200, A2270, A2428, A2429, A2430, A2602, A2603, A2604 and A2605. The cover provides full access to every port, button and camera. It is not for owners of other iPad sizes or earlier models.

PU leather, microfiber lining

The three-layer construction guards against fingerprints, shocks, scratches and dust while adding minimal bulk. The frosted rear shell lets the iPad colour show through. Magnetic closure supports auto wake and sleep to preserve battery life. Buyers needing a built-in Apple Pencil holder or a ruggedised drop-rated shell will not find those features here.

Two magnetic stand angles for viewing and typing

The cover folds into a stable stand with two preset angles for media or keyboard work. The slim profile keeps the tablet light in hand and easy to slide into a bag. No thermal, noise or power specifications apply to this accessory. Users who want continuous adjustable tilt or a detachable keyboard folio should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the A2602 case fit my iPad 7th generation 2019 model A2197 alongside my older accessories?

Yes, the case is designed for iPad 7th generation 2019 models A2197, A2198 and A2200, so it will fit that model precisely.

How do I know the auto wake/sleep function is working after I put the case on?

Open the cover and the iPad should wake instantly; close it and the screen should sleep immediately — that magnetic strip confirms the feature is active.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a screen protector separately?

The package contains one tablet case only; a screen protector is not included and must be purchased separately if desired.
