iPad 10.2 Inch Protective Case

This Speck case fits iPad 9th, 8th and 7th generation models with model numbers A2602, A2603, A2604, A2605, A2270, A2428, A2429, A2430, A2197, A2198 and A2200. It combines a hard polycarbonate shell with a silicone inner layer for full-body drop protection. The clear finish shows the device colour while guarding against dust and bumps. It is not for buyers who need a keyboard folio or a magnetic charging cradle.

Bundled Stand Strap and Pencil Holder

A 360 degree rotating ring handle folds 180 degrees to work as a multi-angle kickstand for landscape or portrait viewing. The detachable shoulder strap measures 172 cm total length and can loop around a car headrest for rear-seat entertainment. A built-in pencil holder keeps a stylus attached to the case. It does not suit users who prefer a separate desk stand or a magnetic pencil mount.

Three-Layer Build and Port Access

The hybrid construction uses three pieces that snap together around the 10.2 inch tablet weighing 0.572 kg. Precise cutouts give direct access to every button, port and camera without removing the case. The included screen protector adheres directly to the display for scratch resistance. It is not for owners who want a slim sleeve or a waterproof enclosure.

Questions about this item

Will the built-in screen protector need replacing, and how is it fitted?

The case uses a three-piece combined installation with an integrated screen protector; if it becomes scratched or loses adhesion you would replace the entire case assembly rather than a separate film.

At what angle does the 360° ring stand stop locking securely in landscape mode?

The ring handle rotates 360° and folds 180°, so it locks at any angle within that full circle; the first limit you hit is the 180° fold stop when you flatten it against the back.

Does the polycarbonate shell trap heat during all-day video playback?

The hybrid shell is polycarbonate and silicone with precise cut-outs for all ports and vents, allowing the iPad’s normal passive cooling to work without added insulation.
