Build Quality and Daily Use

German Bayer transparent material delivers more than 99 percent light transmittance while four corner airbags provide military-grade drop protection. A dedicated slot on the left side stores a first-generation Apple Pencil, its USB-C charging adapter or a Logitech Crayon so accessories stay attached. The cover weighs .27 kilograms and measures 1.8 by 21.5 by 25.6 centimeters.

Practical Limits

Auto sleep and wake function relies on the iPad's magnetic sensors working correctly through the case material. The pencil slot is sized only for the first-generation Pencil and its adapter; second-generation Pencil users have no storage option. Buyers who need a keyboard attachment or a stand with multiple viewing angles will find neither feature on this cover.
