Ground-fault circuit interrupter rated 20 A at 120 V AC, single-pole bolt-on design for QO load centres and NQ panelboards, 10 kA interrupting capacity
The Square D QOB120GFI is a single-pole miniature circuit breaker rated at 20 A and 120 V AC. It provides ground-fault protection for residential and light-commercial branch circuits. The unit bolts directly into compatible QO load centres and NQ panelboards. It is intended for installers who need a factory-new GFCI breaker for a QO-series enclosure.
The breaker carries a maximum AIR rating of 10 kA at 120 V AC. It uses a paddle actuator for manual switching and reset after a fault trip. No DC voltage rating is assigned, so the device is limited to AC applications. Normal operation produces no audible noise and negligible heat rise within its 100 A frame size.
The bolt-on mounting style secures the breaker to the panel bus without a plug-in stab. Pressure-plate terminals accept solid or stranded conductors without a separate lug kit. Physical dimensions are 4.1 in length, .8 in width and 2.9 in depth, fitting standard QO pole spacing. The breaker is not rated for DC circuits or panels outside the QO and NQ series.

Align the breaker's bolt-on foot with the panel rail, secure the mounting screw to the specified torque, then connect the load wire to the pressure-plate terminal and the neutral pigtail to the panel's neutral bar; the step most often missed is attaching the neutral pigtail, which is required for GFCI protection.
Test the ground-fault function monthly using the built-in test button; replace the breaker if it fails to trip during test, trips repeatedly without a fault, or shows signs of overheating or physical damage.
The breaker is rated for continuous operation at 20 A with a 10 kA interrupting rating at 120 V AC; the first limit under sustained use is the thermal trip curve opening the circuit if current exceeds 20 A for the time defined by the curve.
