Compact 4K DisplayPort to HDMI adapter

This passive adapter converts a DisplayPort output to an HDMI input for 4K displays. It supports resolutions up to 4K x 2K at 30 Hz and carries 7.1 surround sound audio. The compact black design requires no external power and connects directly with a straight male DisplayPort and female HDMI connector. Plug-and-play installation works with compatible laptops and desktops.

Suitable for single-screen 4K setups at 30 Hz

Ideal for users connecting a 4K monitor, TV or projector to a DisplayPort source such as an EliteBook 840 for office or BYOD use. It also handles 1080p and 720p resolutions for standard displays. Not for buyers who need 4K at higher refresh rates, active signal conversion for extended distances, or multiple display outputs from one port.

Maximum digital resolution 4K x 2K at 30 Hz

The adapter delivers Ultra HD resolution at 30 Hz as its peak video specification. This refresh rate determines suitability for video playback, general productivity and static content rather than high-frame-rate gaming or motion-intensive applications. Supported fallback resolutions include 1920x1200, 1080p and 720p for wider display compatibility.
