Active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI adapter

The StarTech DP2HD4KS is an active converter that connects an HDMI display to a DisplayPort 1.2 source. It supports 4K resolution at 30 Hz and carries both digital video and audio through a single 5.9-inch cable assembly.

Suited for single-stream 4K at 30 Hz

This adapter suits users adding an HDMI monitor, television or projector to a DisplayPort-equipped computer where 30 Hz refresh is acceptable. It does not suit builds that require 4K at higher refresh rates, multi-stream transport for daisy-chained displays, or passive cabling for dual-mode sources.

DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 1.4 active conversion

The single specification that decides fit is the active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 1.4 conversion with a maximum digital resolution of 4K at 30 Hz. If your source or display demands a different protocol or a higher refresh ceiling, this unit will not meet the requirement.
