42U Server Cabinet for Network Equipment

This 42U server rack cabinet provides 42 rack units of mounting space in a 36 inch deep enclosure for servers and networking gear. The steel mesh back door and locking front and back doors with side panels secure installed equipment. Preinstalled casters and leveling feet with 100 mm adjustment allow positioning on uneven floors. Supplied hardware includes 50 M6 screws, cage nuts, washers and keys.

Adjustable Depth Handles Heavy Continuous Loads

Adjustable mounting rails let you set the mounting depth to match equipment length so weight distributes evenly across the frame. The 907 kg static weight capacity supports fully populated racks without deflection during sustained operation. Steel mesh rear door promotes airflow through the cabinet while equipment runs continuously. Locking doors and side panels maintain physical security over long deployments.

Mesh Ventilation and Leveling Feet Manage Heat

Steel mesh back door allows passive airflow to carry away heat generated by dense equipment installations. Leveling feet with 100 mm range keep the cabinet stable on raised or sloped data-centre floors so vibration does not loosen connections. Casters enable relocation without external lifting gear. Black finish resists visible wear in high-traffic server rooms.

Questions about this item

Does the RK4236BKB produce any fan noise or heat during continuous operation?

The cabinet itself has no fans or powered components, so it generates no noise or heat; any sound or warmth comes only from the equipment you install inside it.

What mounting hardware must I already have to fit gear into the adjustable rails of this 42U enclosure?

The rack uses standard M6 threads and ships with 50 M6 screws, 50 M6 cage nuts and 50 washers, so no extra mounting kit is required for typical servers or network devices.

Will the 36-inch depth and 907 kg weight capacity of this rack support the older 4-post servers I plan to keep?

Yes, the 36 in depth and 907 kg static load rating accommodate most legacy 4-post equipment, and the adjustable mounting rails let you match the exact rail spacing those servers need.
