Multi-System Wireless Gaming Headset

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 Wireless is a circumaural stereo headset built for PC, PlayStation, Switch, mobile and VR. It connects through a USB-C dongle using 2.4 GHz wireless or Bluetooth 5.3, and the QuickSwitch button moves between the two links instantly. Neodymium magnetic drivers deliver a 20 Hz to 22 kHz frequency response with 36 ohm impedance and 93 dB sensitivity. Passive noise isolation comes from the over-ear fit.

QuickSwitch Dual-Wireless Users

Gamers who want one headset that jumps between a low-latency 2.4 GHz link and a Bluetooth 5.3 connection for calls or mobile play will appreciate the single-tap switching and up to 60 hours of Bluetooth runtime. The companion app supplies over 100 game-specific EQ presets that can be changed without leaving the game. Buyers who need active noise cancellation, a wired analogue connection or on-device surround processing should look elsewhere.

60-Hour Battery with USB-C Fast Charge

A single charge provides up to 60 hours over Bluetooth or 50 hours over 2.4 GHz wireless, and a 15-minute USB-C top-up adds roughly six hours of use. This capacity lets a player run eight-hour sessions across a full week without plugging in. If your sessions regularly exceed that span between charges, another model will be required.

Questions about this item

Does the headset need a USB-C port on my device for the 2.4 GHz dongle?

The USB-C wireless dongle plugs into a USB-C port on PC, PS5, Switch or mobile; a USB-A adapter is not included.

Can I keep my wired headset connected to the same controller while using the Nova 5 on Bluetooth 5.3?

Yes — the headset pairs to Bluetooth 5.3 independently, so a wired headset on the controller is unaffected.

How do I confirm the 60-hour Bluetooth battery claim after my first full charge?

The Companion App shows real-time battery percentage; a full charge should read 100 % and last up to 60 hours over Bluetooth.
