Multi-Platform Wireless Headset

The SteelSeries 61674 Arctis Nova 5P is a circumaural gaming headset built for players who move between PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It connects through a USB-C dongle for 2.4 GHz wireless and adds Bluetooth for mobile devices, delivering 7.1 surround sound and 360 Spatial Audio support on compatible platforms. The white finish and retractable microphone suit both desktop and living-room setups.

Build Integration

A single USB-C transmitter handles the 2.4 GHz link across consoles, PC, Mac, VR headsets and handhelds, freeing a USB-A port and removing the need for separate adapters. Quick-Switch Wireless lets the user toggle to Bluetooth with one button press, so a phone call or music stream can interrupt a session without re-pairing. The 30-foot wireless range covers typical desk and couch distances, while the 36-ohm impedance is driven easily by the dongle or a controller jack.

Upgrade Path

The 40 mm neodymium drivers cover 20 Hz to 22 KHz and are tuned by over 100 game-specific presets in the companion app, a step up from headsets that rely on a single flat profile. Sixty hours of battery life replaces the typical 20-to-30-hour cycle, and USB-C fast charging restores usable playtime in minutes. Active noise cancellation on the ClearCast 2.X microphone cuts background sound more aggressively than passive boom mics, making the jump worthwhile for squad-focused players who need clearer comms.
