Seven-tier tabletop organizer

This metal desk file holder provides seven stacked letter trays for sorting documents, magazines and newspapers on a flat surface. The black polished finish suits office, classroom or home study environments where paperwork accumulates quickly.

Replaces single-tray sorters and scattered piles

When a single inbox or loose stacks no longer contain the volume of incoming paper, the seven-level structure adds vertical capacity without expanding the desk footprint. The upgrade is worth it once daily sorting requires more categories than a two- or three-tier unit can separate.

Steel frame holds weight without flex

At 3.44 pounds the unit stays planted while loaded with heavy files or thick periodicals. The rigid metal construction resists bowing across the 12-inch width, so lower trays do not sag even when upper levels are full.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 8.3 x 12 inch footprint of this 7 tier black organizer require?

The unit sits on a rectangle measuring 8.3 inches deep by 12 inches wide, so you need at least that much clear tabletop area plus a little clearance around the edges.

Which step in the included instructions do buyers most often skip when assembling the metal letter trays?

Many people forget to fully tighten every screw after the frame is aligned; the instructions show a final tightening pass that keeps the tiers from wobbling under load.

What cleaning or upkeep does the polished brass finish on the metal frame need over time?

Wipe the polished brass surfaces with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can strip the protective coating.
