Ten-Speaker Surround Set

The Theater Solutions TS30B supplies ten passive on-wall speakers for a complete home-theatre or whole-house audio installation. Each unit is driven by an external amplifier or receiver with raw speaker-wire outputs. The set suits installers who need multiple zones from a single rack and buyers building a 5.1 or 7.1 system without purchasing separate pairs. It is not suited for users who want powered speakers with built-in amplification or wireless streaming.

Consistent Output Over Long Sessions

Frequency response runs from 140 Hz to 20 kHz at 89 dB sensitivity and 8-ohm impedance, so tonal balance remains stable during extended movie marathons or background music playback. The 2.5-inch poly-treated cone woofers handle continuous power between 20 and 200 watts per channel without compression. The sealed ABS cabinets prevent port resonance that can colour sound at higher volumes. Buyers needing deep sub-bass below 140 Hz will require a separate subwoofer.

Compact Cabinets With Flexible Mounting

Each speaker measures 3.5 inches high by 3.375 inches wide by 4.25 inches deep, allowing discreet placement on shelves or walls. Integrated hang tabs and included mounting brackets with hardware simplify permanent installation in any orientation. Spring-loaded raw-wire terminals accept stripped cable quickly and hold it securely over time. The black finish blends into most décors, though the set is not rated for outdoor exposure.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise do the ten TS30B speakers add when driven continuously?

The passive cabinets produce no fan noise and negligible heat; all power dissipation occurs in the external amplifier, so room temperature and sound level depend on that amp.

What amplifier or receiver must I already own to drive these speakers?

Any stereo or home-theatre receiver with raw speaker-wire outputs rated between 20 and 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms will power the set correctly.

Will the TS30B set integrate with older 6-ohm or 4-ohm front speakers I want to keep?

The TS30B speakers present an 8-ohm load; mixing them with lower-impedance fronts can unbalance channel levels and stress an amplifier not rated for mixed loads.
