Weatherproof WiFi 6 access point delivers 1.8 Gbps dual-band speeds with IP67 protection and PoE+ power for outdoor networks
The TP-Link EAP610-Outdoor is a dual-band wireless access point built for exterior environments. It delivers AX1800 speeds across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands using WiFi6 technology. The IP67-rated enclosure protects internal components from dust and water ingress. This unit suits installers who need managed connectivity for gardens, courtyards or open-air venues.
The weatherproof housing and high-gain antennas maintain signal quality during extended exposure to rain, heat or cold. OFDMA and MU-MIMO handle dozens of simultaneous clients without the throughput collapse seen in burst-only designs. Omada SDN integration allows central firmware updates and load balancing across multiple units. Mesh and seamless roaming functions require an Omada controller to operate.
The only wired interface is one RJ-45 port accepting 802.3at PoE+ or the included 48V passive PoE adapter. No second Ethernet port exists for daisy-chaining or a wired backhaul link. Buyers needing multi-port aggregation or fibre uplink capability must select a different model. Power and data share the single cable run.

The unit is powered by 802.3at PoE+ or the included 48 V passive PoE adapter; actual draw depends on traffic load and ambient temperature.
You need a Cat5e or better Ethernet run to the mounting location and a pole or wall surface for the supplied brackets; the PoE adapter and waterproof kits are in the box.
Yes, the AP supports 802.11ax/ac/n/g/b/a simultaneously, so legacy clients connect at their rated speeds while WiFi6 devices use OFDMA and MU-MIMO.
