Compact stereo pair for small rooms

The Triangle Borea BR02 is a 2-way bookshelf speaker pair finished in light oak. Each cabinet houses a 25mm silk dome tweeter and a 13cm cellulose midrange driver rated for 80W. The design targets neutral, clear reproduction in rooms up to 20m.

Upgrade from basic computer or TV speakers

These replace integrated monitor audio or entry-level multimedia sets when a listener wants wider dispersion and uncoloured midrange. The jump is worth it for music-focused playback where voice and instrument realism matter more than artificial bass boost.

Sustained listening without harshness

The EFS tweeter geometry reduces directivity so high frequencies stay consistent across the seating area. The untreated cellulose cone resists coloration during long sessions, keeping midrange detail stable even at higher output levels.

Questions about this item

How much shelf depth do the 13cm midrange drivers need in the BR02?

The cabinets are compact bookshelf size for rooms up to 20m, so allow a few centimetres behind the rear panel for bass reflex airflow.

What is the correct tweeter height when placing the BR02 on stands?

Position the 25mm silk dome tweeter at ear level when seated; the magnetic grilles pull off without tools for a quick check.

Will the cellulose midrange cones need any treatment over time?

The untreated natural paper membrane is designed to last without re-coning; just dust the magnetic grilles occasionally.
