Triangle Borea BR02 Walnut Bookshelf Speakers Pair

Compact Hi-Fi Entry Point

The Triangle Borea BR02 is a pair of bookshelf speakers designed as a compact introduction to high-fidelity audio. They suit listeners moving up from basic computer or Bluetooth speakers who want richer stereo sound. Their small footprint allows placement on stands, shelves or furniture in rooms up to 20 sq. m. This pair delivers an immersive soundstage that belies its reduced dimensions.

Build And Connectivity

Each speaker uses a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter paired with a 13cm mid-bass driver featuring a natural cellulose paper membrane. The EFS phase plug homogenises high-frequency diffusion, reducing directivity so tonal balance stays consistent across different listening positions. The walnut finish provides a classic aesthetic that integrates into living spaces. Standard binding posts accept bare wire, spades or banana plugs for straightforward amplifier connection.

Upgrade Path And Use Cases

These speakers replace entry-level desktop or wireless systems with a passive stereo pair that scales with better amplification. They also function as surround or Atmos effect channels in a home-theatre array. The jump is worthwhile when you have a dedicated amplifier and want neutral voice reproduction with surprising bass extension for the cabinet size. They are not suited for listeners needing deep sub-bass authority in large rooms without a subwoofer.
