Self-Adhesive Containment Film

TRIMACO 71020/12 Self-Adhesive Containment Film is a clear polyethylene sheet designed to protect surfaces during painting or construction. The roll measures 100 ft in length and 1 53/64 ft in width with a .4 mil thickness. It suits contractors and DIY users needing temporary floor or surface coverage. The self-adhesive backing holds the film in place without separate tape.

Installation and common issues

The film unrolls and adheres directly to clean, dry surfaces for quick setup. Users should press firmly to ensure full contact and prevent air pockets. Dust or moisture on the substrate can reduce adhesion and cause lifting. The thin .4 mil material may tear if dragged across rough flooring or sharp debris. Careful handling during application avoids rips that compromise containment.
