14U Deep Server Rack

This 14U floor-standing cabinet holds standard rack equipment up to 42 inches deep. The extra depth supports high-density installations, cable management and rear hot-swap power-supply removal. It is built from heavy-duty steel with a black powder-coated finish for network closets, classrooms and back offices.

Capacity and Load Limits

The enclosure supports a maximum load of 1000 pounds across its 14 rack units. At 43.6 inches deep it accommodates deep servers and switches, but equipment exceeding the depth or weight limit will not fit or be supported safely.

Upgrade From Wall Mount or Shallow Cabinets

This rack replaces wall-mount or shallower enclosures when deeper gear, better airflow or lockable doors and side panels are required. The jump is worth it when current cabinets cannot accept 42-inch-deep devices or lack secure, ventilated access.

Questions about this item

Will my existing 42-inch deep equipment fit in the 42-inch deep rack?

Yes, the SR14UBDP is built to support equipment up to 42 inches deep, so your current deep servers will fit without modification.

How can I confirm the rack is level and stable after positioning it on the floor?

Check that all four corners of the 23.6 by 43.6 inch base sit evenly on the floor and verify the 117.95 lb steel frame does not rock when gently pushed.

Does the shipment include the M6 mounting hardware and casters needed to install and move the rack?

The package contains 60 M6 screws, 60 M6 washers, 60 M6 cage nuts, two keys and the SRCaster rolling caster kit, so no separate hardware purchase is required.
