6U Vertical Wall-Mount Bracket

The Tripp Lite SRWALLBRKT6U SmartRack bracket provides 6U of vertical mounting space for servers, network switches or UPS units. Its black steel frame measures 11.2 inches high, 19.7 inches wide and 11.2 inches deep. The unit weighs approximately 8.38 lb and is supplied new.

200 lb Load Limit

The bracket supports a maximum load of 200 lb when properly secured to a suitable wall structure. Installers must verify that the mounting surface and fasteners can handle the combined weight of the bracket and installed equipment. Exceeding this limit risks structural failure.

6U Capacity and Device Fit

The 6U height accommodates standard rack-mount devices up to the 200 lb rating, such as patch panels, switches or shallow servers. Deeper or heavier chassis that exceed the load rating or the 11.2 inch depth cannot be mounted safely.

Questions about this item

Which bracket capacity should I choose for my equipment?

The bracket supports up to 200 lb so match that limit to the combined weight of your servers, network switches or UPS units.

What does the 200 lb load rating mean once the bracket is mounted on the wall?

It is the maximum static weight the bracket can hold when securely fastened to a suitable wall structure; the installed equipment must not exceed this figure.

What mounting standard does the 19.7-inch width follow and what does it cap in practice?

The 19.7-inch width aligns with the EIA 19-inch rack standard, limiting installed devices to equipment designed for that rail spacing.
