Dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 access point delivers 1.99 Gbit/s aggregate throughput with 4x4 MU-MIMO on 5 GHz and 2x2 MIMO on 2.4 GHz, supports indoor or outdoor mounting and operates from -30 to 70 °C
The Ubiquiti Networks UAP-FlexHD is a Wave 2 802.11ac access point delivering a combined radio rate of 1.99 Gbit/s across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Its cylindrical form factor measures 1.90 inches in diameter by 6.28 inches in height and weighs 0.69 lb, with brackets supplied for tabletop, wall or pole mounting. The unit operates from -30 to 70 °C and 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity, making it suitable for exposed locations.
Installers who want a single Gigabit Ethernet port powered by 44–57 VDC passive PoE at 10.5 W will find integration straightforward. The reset button and status LED are the only physical controls. Networks that require more than one wired uplink, higher 5 GHz spatial streams, or later 802.11 amendments will not be served by this hardware.
The only wired interface is one 10/100/1000M RJ-45 port that also accepts 44–57 VDC power, so the site must provide a compatible PoE injector or switch. There is no additional Ethernet port for daisy-chaining or a separate DC jack, so cabling and power planning must account for this single connection.

Yes — it draws 10.5 W from a 44–57 VDC PoE source, so a PoE switch or injector that can deliver that voltage and power is required.
The 2.4 GHz radio runs 802.11n 2×2 MIMO at 300 Mbps, so legacy clients connect there while newer clients use the 5 GHz 4×4 MU-MIMO radio at 1.733 Gbps.
The System/Status LED shows a solid white once the AP has been adopted and is managed by the UniFi Network controller.
