Paint Brush for Radiators

The Value Brand 3 inch bent radiator paint brush uses China hair bristles in a mixed filament. Its soft stiffness and long wooden handle suit detailed work on rough or smooth surfaces. The angled head reaches behind pipes and tight corners where straight brushes cannot.

Upgrade from Flat Brushes

Switch when a straight brush misses the back of radiators or skirting boards. The bent profile keeps bristles flat against curved metal so coverage stays even without wrist strain. Painters who only coat large flat walls will not need this shape.

Capacity and Headroom

Three inch bristle width holds enough oil or water based paint for several strokes across a standard panel. Soft China hair releases coating smoothly on concrete, metal and wood but wears faster on abrasive plaster. Very large surfaces call for a wider brush or roller.

Questions about this item

What handle length does the 3 in bent radiator brush have?

The brush uses a long wooden handle designed to reach behind radiators and into tight wall cavities.

How should the mixed China hair bristles be prepared before first use with oil or water based paint?

Rinse the 11/16 in thick bristles in the matching solvent then spin dry to remove loose hairs and prevent streaks.

When will the 2 3/16 in long black bristles need replacement?

Replace the brush once the soft China hair tips fray or lose their flagged ends so coverage stays even on rough or smooth surfaces.
