General Purpose Dolly 1000 lb

The Value Brand General Purpose Dolly supports loads up to 1000 lb on a 30 in by 18 in deck. A 5 in deck height keeps the platform low for stable transport. The carpeted wood surface protects finished items from scratches during moves. Raised ends help contain cargo on uneven ground.

Strap Securing Mechanism

A built-in strap provides the primary method for holding items in place while the dolly is in motion. The flush lip design allows flat objects to slide on and off without catching on a raised edge. A 20 in by 11 in center opening reduces overall weight and lets straps pass through for extra tie-down points. No additional fastening hardware is included.

Populus Wood Frame

The frame and deck use Populus wood for a balance of strength and weight. Four 5 in wheels mounted at the corners give a wide stance that resists tipping on ramps or thresholds. The open deck style leaves the underside accessible for cleaning or inspection. Brown finish suits warehouse or workshop environments.

Questions about this item

Will the carpeted deck surface need replacing after heavy use?

The carpeted deck protects loads but can wear down; inspect it regularly and replace the surface if the wood beneath becomes exposed.

What stops the dolly from rolling when loaded to 1000 lb?

The strap securing mechanism holds the load in place, but the dolly itself has no brakes, so it must be blocked or held on any slope.

Does the wood frame heat up or make noise during all-day moves?

The poplar wood frame stays at ambient temperature and produces only the normal rolling sound of the wheels on the floor.
