Rigid Plate Caster for Heavy Loads

This rigid plate caster uses a steel wheel and core to support a 1000 lb load rating. The 4 in diameter wheel is non‑marking and has no brake or swivel lock. It is built for straight‑line movement on carts or wheelbarrows.

Suits Fixed‑Direction Transport

Buyers who need a caster that rolls in a straight line under heavy weight will find this model appropriate. Those who require steering capability, a locking mechanism or a quieter tread material should consider a different caster type.

Consistent Rolling Under Full Load

The solid steel construction maintains its shape and rolling resistance when the rated 1000 lb is applied continuously. No brake or swivel components are present to wear or shift during sustained use.

Questions about this item

What mounting plate or frame must I already have to bolt this 4 in rigid caster in place?

The caster uses a rigid plate mount; you need a flat surface with a matching bolt pattern to secure it.

Will the 1000 lb steel wheel damage an older wooden cart floor if I keep that cart?

The steel tread is non‑marking but hard; on soft wood it can indent the surface under full load.

How can I confirm the caster rolls straight after installation?

Push the loaded cart — the rigid design prevents swivel, so the wheel should track in a straight line without wobble.
