Velztorm Orix i9-12900K RTX 3070 Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card carrying 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The system includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SATA solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Buyers wanting 12th Gen Intel performance

This PC suits buyers who want a 12th Gen Intel Core i9 platform with DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 3070 for gaming or content creation. The 850W power supply and 360mm AIO liquid cooler support the high-wattage components. It is not for buyers who need a different operating system, more than 16GB of memory out of the box, or a graphics card with a different memory configuration.

16GB DDR5 4800MHz memory decides compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 16GB DDR5 4800MHz memory installed on the motherboard. Only DDR5 DIMMs are compatible with this 12th Gen Intel platform; other memory generations will not work. The two DIMM slots determine the maximum capacity you can reach without replacing modules. Check your upgrade plans against that constraint before purchase.

Will my older USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse work with the front and rear ports on this desktop?
