Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, and a 2TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a 750W power supply drives the system.

Practical limits of the 802.11n wireless interface

The integrated wireless adapter uses the 802.11n standard, which caps real-world throughput well below modern gigabit broadband speeds. Builders who rely on low-latency competitive play or large game downloads over Wi-Fi should plan for a wired Ethernet connection. The single HDMI and DisplayPort outputs support one external monitor each.

750W power supply capacity

The 750W unit powers the eight-core CPU and the RTX 3070 with its 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer. Systems configured with additional high-wattage components or heavy overclocking headroom may exceed this supply's rating. Buyers who want more storage or multiple high-power add-in cards should verify total draw before ordering.

The system ships with an 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X running at 3.6 GHz up to 4.4 GHz and 32 GB of DDR4 memory.

What does the RTX 3070 with 8 GB GDDR6 deliver in actual games?

The RTX 3070 provides 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory on a PCIe 4.0 link, supporting DirectX 12, VR and G-SYNC for smooth high-refresh play.
