Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop is a pre-built gaming system centred on an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor running up to 4.4 GHz. It targets players who want a ready-to-use Windows 10 Pro machine with a dedicated GTX 1660 Super graphics card and 32 GB of DDR4 memory for mainstream titles at 1080p.

Capacity and headroom

The 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides fast boot and game-load speeds, while the additional 1 TB hard drive adds bulk storage for media and backups. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 gives comfortable headroom for current games and multitasking; the 6 GB GDDR6 on the GTX 1660 Super becomes the limiting factor in texture-heavy scenes at higher resolutions.

GTX 1660 Super interface limits

The GTX 1660 Super connects through a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and drives displays via HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Its 6 GB frame buffer and GDDR6 bandwidth set the practical ceiling for resolution and detail settings, while the 750 W power supply delivers sufficient overhead for the whole platform.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work alongside the 32GB DDR4 already installed?

The system uses DDR4 DIMM slots, so any compatible DDR4 modules you keep can be added if free slots remain.

How can I verify the GTX 1660 Super is running at its 6GB GDDR6 specification after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or GPU-Z and confirm the adapter shows 6 GB of dedicated GDDR6 memory.

Which cables and peripherals are included in the box versus what I must purchase separately?

The desktop ships with a power cord; monitor, keyboard, mouse, and display cables are not included.
