Velztorm Pilum Ryzen 7 3700X Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop is a pre-built gaming system configured with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor, 64GB of DDR4 memory, and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. A 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides the primary storage. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and uses a 750W power supply.

Suits 1440p gaming and multitasking.

The 8-core CPU and 16GB GPU combination handles modern titles at 1440p resolution with high settings and supports heavy multitasking workflows. The 64GB DDR4 capacity serves content creation and virtual machines well. Buyers targeting 4K high-refresh gaming or workloads needing more than 16GB of video memory should consider a different configuration.

2TB NVMe and 64GB DDR4 headroom

The 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD holds a large game library and project files with fast load times. The 64GB DDR4 kit leaves no empty slots for further memory expansion on most boards. The 750W unit powers the current parts; adding a second graphics card or significantly higher-wattage components would exceed its capacity.

Questions about this item

Does the 64 GB DDR4 configuration require any additional memory modules to reach full capacity?

No, the system ships with 64 GB DDR4 already installed, so no extra modules are needed.

Will the Radeon RX 6900 XT 16 GB GDDR6 card fit and run on an older motherboard that only has PCIe 3.0 slots?

Yes, the card is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 and will operate normally, though bandwidth is limited to that generation.

How can I verify the 120 mm AIO liquid cooler is functioning after first boot?

Check that the pump RPM appears in BIOS or monitoring software and feel for warm exhaust air from the radiator.
