Velztorm Pilum desktop with Ryzen 7 3700X

This pre-built gaming desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X with a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 512GB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD. The system includes a 120mm AIO liquid cooler and a 750W power supply. Windows 10 Pro is installed and Wi-Fi 802.11n provides wireless connectivity.

Upgrade from older eight-core or six-core boxes

The jump makes sense when your current rig cannot feed a 16GB GDDR6 GPU at 1440p or 4K. Builders moving up from 16GB or 32GB of RAM will notice the headroom in heavy multitasking and content workloads. The 3.6GHz base clock and 4.4GHz boost handle modern engines without bottlenecking the graphics card. Buyers who need more than 64GB of DDR4 or a newer socket should look elsewhere.

64GB DDR4 and 16GB GDDR6 cover most creative

The 512GB NVMe drive holds the OS and active projects while the 2TB HDD stores bulk media. At 4K the 16GB frame buffer keeps texture streaming smooth, though ultra-high ray-tracing settings may exhaust VRAM. The 750W unit powers the CPU and GPU combination with adequate reserve. Users planning multi-GPU arrays or extreme overclocks will hit the platform limits.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need inside the case?

The system uses a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting; verify the chassis has a 120mm radiator mounting location and enough tube length to reach the CPU socket.

Which power cables must be connected to the Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB during installation?

The graphics card requires supplemental PCIe power cables from the 750W supply; seat the card fully in the PCIe x16 slot and attach all required connectors before closing the case.

How many DDR4 DIMM slots are populated with the 64GB kit, and what capacity can be added later?

The 64GB DDR4 DIMM configuration fills available slots; future expansion is limited to the maximum capacity the motherboard supports, up to 128GB if slots remain free.
