Velztorm Pilum Ryzen 7 3700X Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card. It ships with a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus a 1TB hard drive for capacity. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a 750W power supply drives the system.

Sustained load with AIO liquid cooling

An RGB 120mm AIO liquid cooler keeps the 3.6GHz processor stable up to its 4.4GHz boost during extended sessions. The 750W unit delivers consistent power to the 6GB GDDR6 GPU without throttling. Dual storage lets the OS and active titles run from the NVMe drive while bulk files sit on the hard drive.

Upgrade path from lower memory or GPU

Builders moving from 16GB or 32GB DDR4 kits gain headroom for heavy multitasking and content workloads. Swapping an older GTX card for the 1660 Super adds 6GB GDDR6 VRAM and G-SYNC support for smoother frame pacing. The configuration is not suited for buyers who want more storage bays or a second graphics card.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 750W power supply and 120mm AIO liquid cooler get under sustained load?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is designed for efficient heat dissipation, which typically allows quieter operation compared to air coolers, while the 750W power supply fan speed adjusts based on system load and temperature.

Does the GTX 1660 Super require a monitor with DisplayPort or HDMI, and are cables included?

The graphics card provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort output; you will need a compatible monitor and the appropriate cable, which are not included with the desktop.

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work if I want to expand beyond the installed 64GB?

The system uses DDR4 DIMM slots; additional DDR4 modules can be added provided they match the existing speed and voltage specifications for compatibility.
