Product Purpose

The Vertiv PST5-350MT120 is an offline UPS rated at 350VA and 200W for 120V environments. It provides battery backup and surge protection for desktop computers, gaming consoles, workstations, routers and similar electronics.

Outlet Split

Four NEMA 5-15R outlets deliver surge protection only, while the other four add battery backup so critical devices keep running during an outage. RJ11/45 ports guard telephone or DSL lines, and EMI/RFI filtering reduces line noise.

Sustained Load Runtime

At full 200W load the internal VRLA battery lasts four minutes, giving just enough time to save work and shut down. At half load the runtime extends to eleven minutes, which suits lighter configurations but will not cover extended blackouts.

Questions about this item

What type of wall outlet does the NEMA 5-15P input plug connect to?

The NEMA 5-15P input plug connects to a standard 120V North American wall outlet rated for 15 amps.

Will the four surge-only outlets protect a router during a power outage?

No, the four surge-only outlets provide surge protection but no battery backup, so a router plugged into them will lose power during an outage.

How can I verify the battery is supplying power to the four backup outlets during a blackout?

When utility power fails, the UPS alarm sounds and the connected equipment on the four surge/backup battery outlets continues running for up to 4 minutes at full 200W load.
