Day/Night CCTV Camera

This VideoSecu VD3HBE-A3 is a wired analog security camera built around a 1/3 inch SONY Effio CCD sensor and DSP. It delivers up to 700 TV lines of horizontal resolution through a 3.6mm wide-angle lens. The black weatherproof aluminum housing suits indoor or outdoor mounting. The package includes the camera, a 12V DC 500mA regulated power supply and a warning sticker.

BNC Wiring and Power Notes

Installation requires running a coaxial cable with BNC connectors from the camera to a compatible DVR (not supplied). The included 12V DC power adapter plugs into a standard mains outlet and feeds the camera directly. Common issues arise when the DVR does not accept analog BNC video or when cable runs exceed practical lengths for the 12V supply voltage drop.

Compatibility Check Before Buying

Verify that your recorder accepts analog CVBS signals over BNC and supports 700TVL input. Ensure you have a spare BNC channel and sufficient coaxial cable for the intended camera position. Confirm a nearby mains socket for the supplied 12V adapter or plan for a protected low-voltage power run. This camera will not connect to IP-only NVRs or network switches.
