Analog CCTV Dome for Existing DVR Systems

The VideoSecu VD70HK-N1 is a wired analog dome camera that delivers 690 TV Line resolution through a BNC connection. It is built for installers or owners who need a direct replacement camera on a traditional DVR that still uses coaxial cabling.

Verify Your Recorder and Cabling First

This camera requires a compatible analog DVR with BNC inputs and a 12 V DC power source; it will not work with HD, IP or wireless recorders. Check that your existing cabling can carry the video signal and that the DVR supports standard analog resolution before ordering.

Integrates Into Coax-Based Surveillance Builds

The varifocal 4-9 mm lens lets you adjust the field of view on site while the 36 IR LEDs and mechanical IR-cut filter provide night vision without extra illuminators. The included 12 V power supply and warning sticker simplify mounting, freeing you from sourcing separate power adapters for this camera.

Questions about this item

Does the package include everything needed to start recording?

The box contains the dome camera, a power supply and a warning sticker. A DVR, BNC cable and monitor are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which lens setting suits a wider or narrower view?

The varifocal 4-9mm lens lets you adjust the field of view manually; 4 mm gives a wider angle, 9 mm a narrower, zoomed-in view.

What does the 690 TVL figure mean for recorded footage?

690 TV lines is the maximum horizontal resolution the sensor can deliver when paired with a compatible analog DVR; actual detail also depends on the recorder and cable quality.
