4×1 HDMI 2.0 Switch

This device connects four HDMI sources to a single display and extracts audio to HDMI, optical TOSLINK or a 3.5 mm jack. It suits home-theatre or desktop setups that need to alternate between consoles, streamers or PCs on one screen. It does not serve installations that require simultaneous output to multiple monitors.

Audio capacity and headroom

HDMI audio output carries PCM up to 7.1 channels plus Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. Optical output is limited to Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 and PCM 2.0. The 3.5 mm jack delivers stereo PCM only, so multi-channel analogue systems cannot be driven directly.

HDMI 2.0b interface limits

Video bandwidth reaches 18.5 Gbps at 600 MHz, supporting 4K at 60 Hz, HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and RGB 8:8:8 at 36-bit colour depth. The switch auto-selects the most recently connected active source and includes a remote for manual switching; it cannot pass signals beyond the HDMI 2.0b specification.
