SKU CH-TY3P-3QJP1

Connects BCM94360 series Wi-Fi cards to M.2 Key-M NVMe slots for desktop PCs

  • Converts BCM94360 series cards to M.2 Key-M NVME storage
  • Fits 2260 and 2280 length drives without extra power cables
  • Compact 3.94 x 3.94 x .39 inch board saves internal space
  • Draws power from 6+12 pin source plus USB header connection
  • Designed for desktop M.2 PCI-E KEY-M slots only

Compatibility With BCM94360 Series Cards

This adapter converts a BCM94360CD, BCM94360CS, BCM943602CS or BCM94360CS2 wireless card to an M.2 PCI-E Key-M slot. It also supports the BCM94331CD and BCM943224PCI-EBT2 modules. The board is designed for desktop PCs only and fits 2260 or 2280 length NVME SSDs.

USB Header Connection Required

The adapter draws power through the motherboard USB header, so no extra power cable is needed. A small 3.94 by 3.94 inch form factor keeps the installation tidy inside the case. The USB header link must be made for the SSD to function correctly.

Check Motherboard M.2 Key And Form Factor

Verify that your motherboard provides an M.2 PCI-E Key-M socket before ordering. The slot must accept 2260 or 2280 size drives; other key types or lengths will not work. This product is not suitable for laptops or non-Key-M interfaces.

Questions about this item

Does the BCM94360CD adapter need any extra power cables or just the 6+12 pin connector?

No additional power is required beyond the 6+12 pin card connection; the unit draws what it needs from the M.2 PCI-E KEY-M slot.

What length M.2 Key-M NVME drives does the 3.94 inch board physically accept?

The adapter supports only 2260 and 2280 form-factor Key-M NVME SSDs, so 60 mm or 80 mm lengths fit the 3.94 inch PCB.

How warm does the Vszerda EP-001 get when an NVME drive runs continuously in a desktop?

The small black 3.94 x 3.94 x .39 inch body has no active cooling; sustained loads will warm the drive to typical M.2 operating temperatures.
