7.1 Virtual Surround USB Adapter

This USB 2.0 audio adapter adds a virtual 7.1 channel output and microphone input to any compatible computer. It suits laptop or desktop users whose onboard audio has failed or who need an extra headset connection without opening the case. The stick-sized enclosure plugs directly into a USB port and works with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Linux, Android and OS X. No driver installation is required for basic operation.

Sustained Audio Playback Behaviour

During extended sessions the adapter draws power solely from the USB bus and maintains a stable digital signal path to headphones or powered speakers. The built-in amplifier drives typical headsets without audible distortion at moderate volumes. Ten-band equaliser settings and the 16 rhythm plus 23 sound-field presets remain selectable through the software panel without interrupting the stream. No thermal throttling or drop-outs are specified for continuous use.

3.5 mm Analogue I/O Ports

The device provides standard 3.5 mm jacks for stereo headphone output and mono microphone input, enabling direct connection of common gaming or communication headsets. Users requiring optical S/PDIF, RCA line-level outputs or multi-channel analogue plugs will not find those connections on this unit. Compatibility is limited to analogue headsets and powered speakers using 3.5 mm connectors.
